Derek Oden
Chief Executive Officer
Derek is a seasoned political strategist with extensive experience in U.S. federal campaigns, specializing in digital strategy and campaign operations to drive winning results. With a decade of experience in U.S. politics, he has played key leadership roles in high-profile races, including serving as Campaign Manager for Congressman Don Bacon’s 2022 re-election and Senator Deb Fischer’s 2024 campaign.
Derek’s expertise lies in navigating and leveraging the digital landscape to shape messaging, mobilize voters, and maximize engagement. His ability to craft data-driven strategies has helped candidates and advocacy groups cut through the noise, build momentum, and secure decisive victories. With a deep understanding of both grassroots organizing and high-level campaign execution, he remains a trusted advisor in Republican politics.
He received his Bachelor of Science in Political Science in 2018 from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and Master's Degree in Business Administration in 2020 from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.
Andrew Northwall
Owner and President
Andrew Northwall is a seasoned political strategist and technology executive with a track record at the highest levels of American campaigns and conservative digital infrastructure. With over 15 years of experience leading political campaigns, he became a trusted advisor to candidates, PACs, and organizations seeking to maximize their impact.
Northwall later transitioned into tech, advising Parler before serving as Chief Operating Officer of Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG), where he led operations for Truth Social and played a key role in taking TMTG public on Nasdaq ($DJT).
His expertise in digital strategy, media, and politics continues to make him a sought-after advisor for businesses, political campaigns, and startups navigating an increasingly digital landscape.
Spencer Head
Strategic Advisor
Spencer devises targeted, meaningful, and effective voter outreach for candidates up and down the ballot, as well as county and state parties and issue advocacy organizations. Spencer was elected in November of 2020 to serve on the Omaha Public Schools Board of Education. In 2021, he was elected to his second term as Treasurer for the Young Republican National Federation.
Spencer has bachelor's Degrees in Political Science and Sociology and a minor in Criminal Justice from Hastings College. He also holds a master's Degree in Public Administration, with a public policy concentration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
Dave Roberts
VP of Business Development & Marketing
Dave spent the better part of two decades as an award-winning news anchor and political investigator at the local and national level. He’s been a communications director and consultant for numerous state and local campaigns.
Dave’s experience provides a unique advantage for clients competing in the political arena. Because of Dave, EZ Politix now offers video content creation through the EZP Studio. Not only will Dave help you connect with voters, he’ll make sure you look your best doing it.
Matt Butler
Owner and Co-Founder
Our Co-Founder and Co-Owner Matt Butler, former CEO of a transportation holding company with a workforce of 500 people, orchestrated successful exits.
He’s been a candidate for state-wide office, served as finance chairman for state and county Republican party organizations, and was a nominee for Governor.
Through 5 elections, including 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018, and 2020, Matt served as a campaign consultant and technology strategist to Congressman Devin Nunes (R-CA-22) .
He graduated from the Owner-President Management Program at Harvard Business School, majored in advertising at the University of Kansas, holds a Master of Science degree from Creighton University, and was a former member of the Young President’s Organization (YPO).
